Frequently asked questions

Everything guests usually ask before booking: check-in and check-out, how booking works, pets, parking and what to do in Alcalá del Júcar.

01What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 17:00 to 19:00 and check-out is until 11:00. Tell us your approximate arrival time when booking; if you will arrive later or need to leave a little later, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

02How does booking work?

Choose your dates and home on the website and send your request. Within 24 hours we confirm availability by email and explain how to finalise the booking. Nothing is charged when you send the request.

03When and how do I pay? Can I cancel?

When we confirm your booking we ask for a 50% deposit by bank transfer; the balance is paid as indicated in the confirmation. You can cancel free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. If you cancel with less than a week's notice, we offer to move your booking to other dates subject to availability. If you have any questions before booking, call us or send a WhatsApp message.

04How many people can stay in each home?

Each home sleeps up to 4 guests: one bedroom with a large bed and a sofa bed for two more people. The nightly price includes 2 guests; each additional guest is charged a supplement of €30 per night. Always state the real number of guests when booking.

05Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are welcome with a supplement of €40 per animal. Mention it in the message of your booking request, with the type and size of your pet, so that everything is ready for you.

06Is there parking?

The complex has no private parking, but there is public parking nearby with no need to book (about €3 per day). When we confirm the booking we explain where to leave the car and how to reach the house, as the streets in the old town of Alcalá del Júcar are narrow.

07Is access easy? Is it suitable for reduced mobility?

The complex is in the upper part of the village, next to the castle, and you cannot park at the door: the public car park is a 2-3 minute walk away. Getting there involves slopes and narrow stairs (Suite Carlota is on the first floor), so the homes are not adapted for people with reduced mobility and are not convenient with pushchairs or very large suitcases. The centre is about a 10-minute walk, downhill on the way there and uphill on the way back.

08Do you have a cot for babies? How are children counted?

Yes, we provide a free cot for babies aged 0 to 3 on request, subject to availability; mention it in the message of your booking request. Every home has a high chair. Extra beds are not available. Children aged 3 and over count as a guest for capacity and price.

09Are there house rules?

Smoking is not allowed inside the homes, and parties, events and stag or hen parties are not permitted.

10Is there WiFi and air conditioning?

Yes, all three homes have free WiFi, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge and coffee machine.

11How do I get to Alcalá del Júcar?

Alcalá del Júcar is about 50 km from Albacete, 150 km from Valencia and 300 km from Madrid. The easiest way to get here is by car. When we confirm the booking we send you the exact location and directions to the house.

12What do I need for check-in?

By law, all tourist accommodation in Spain must register its guests. Bring the ID card or passport of everyone aged 14 or over; we will ask for it on arrival.

13What is there to do in Alcalá del Júcar?

Visit the castle, the Devil’s Cave and Garadén Cave, walk along the Júcar gorge, swim in the river in summer, go rafting, canyoning, hiking or karting. See our activities and surroundings pages to plan your getaway.

14Is it better to book here or on Booking and Airbnb?

Booking directly on our website means you deal with us from the very start, with no middlemen or platform fees, and we look after you personally before and during your stay.
